Web Project Management

Good project management is key to delivering a successful website.

Even for small projects, managing the expectations of all parties and ensuring we deliver on time and to budget is essential. Our web projects use a staged approach with the emphasis on the early planning stages. By engaging with you throughout, we ensure success by planning for it.

Our website projects are typically planned in the following stages:

  • Investigation and planning
  • Design
  • Build and development
  • Testing and training
  • Launch
  • Ongoing support and maintenance

Investigation and planning

The major part of the project involves a client needs analysis, stakeholder interviews, technical requirements, proposition and project planning.

Design

One or more concept designs will be proposed for your consideration. Usability and ease of use studies can be conducted to ensure that your website is optimised for the user.

Build and development

Creating the web page from the designs, setting up the website hosting environment, bespoke programming, setting up the Content Management System (CMS).

Testing and training

Before launch the website is thoroughly tested, this includes web standards and accessibility testing. We will also provide CMS training if required.

Launch

When you are happy with the site, we launch it to the world.

Ongoing support and maintenance

Of course things change and improvements need to be made so we offer a support service to match your needs, from full telephone support to a pay as you go option.

Do something now

In your calendar write down what you would like your website to achieve in 6 months time e.g. "getting 10 leads a weeks" or "traffic should be 4 times the quality than 6 months ago".
