Den brede AI-en de fleste kjenner til, er maskinl\u00e6ringen Google har brukt for <em>\u00e5r<\/em>. Det er teknologien som jobber bak kulissene for \u00e5 bestemme hvilke resultater som skal vises og i hvilken rekkef\u00f8lge, det vi ofte kaller \"algoritmen\".<\/p>\n<p>S\u00e5 kom AI-oversiktene: de store oppsummeringsboksene som begynte \u00e5 rulle ut i 2024 i Storbritannia - der Google skriver for deg i stedet for bare \u00e5 vise lenker. I SEO-verdenen var det mye snakk om hvordan Google hadde g\u00e5tt fra aggregering til kontekstuell tolkning. N\u00e5, fra sommeren 2025, har vi AI-modus: en bryter \u00f8verst til venstre i nettleseren. Det f\u00f8les som om Google og ChatGPT hadde f\u00e5tt et barn, bortsett fra at Google selvf\u00f8lgelig ikke bruker GPT, men sin egen AI, kalt Gemini.<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: -apple-system, BlinkMacSystemFont, 'Segoe UI', Roboto, Oxygen-Sans, Ubuntu, Cantarell, 'Helvetica Neue', sans-serif;\">P\u00e5 overflaten ser AI Mode ut som et fremskritt. Du f\u00e5r ikke bare Googles versjon av sannheten, du f\u00e5r ogs\u00e5 lenker. Virkeligheten er ... mindre ren. Noen av disse \"kildene\" er troverdige utgivere, men det har vist seg at noen er kataloger eller betalte listeartikler som bare <em>innr\u00f8mme<\/em> de er annonser med liten skrift. Det reiser det \u00e5penbare sp\u00f8rsm\u00e5let: Hvor mye av det som vises i AI Mode er ekte, og hvor mye er pay-to-play med bedre merkevarebygging?<\/span><\/p>\n<p>Det er ogs\u00e5 en annen hodepine for de som bryr seg om trafikk p\u00e5 nettstedet og attribusjonene som er knyttet til den. Og smerten stammer direkte fra frustrasjon over at Google Search Console ikke deler ut klikk fra AI-oversikter eller AI-modus, slik at vi ikke kan se den direkte innvirkningen. Hva vi <em>gj\u00f8re<\/em> se er imidlertid inntrykk som holder seg stabile mens klikkene glir. (Ofte beskrevet som \"krokodillen\" med den doble linjegrafen som viser separasjonen av tallene)<\/p>\n<p>Google insisterer p\u00e5 at den samlede organiske trafikken ikke har endret seg mye fra \u00e5r til \u00e5r ... Mange nettstedseiere og digitale markedsf\u00f8rere som ser p\u00e5 sine egne analyser, vil v\u00e6re uenige i dette.<\/p>\n<p>Det siste lille ekstra er sp\u00f8rsm\u00e5let om n\u00f8yaktighet. AI Mode har allerede blitt tatt i \u00e5 servere utdatert eller direkte feil informasjon, noe som sier mye om hvor foreldet disse sammendragene kan v\u00e6re. Det kan v\u00e6re sm\u00e5 glipper eller barnesykdommer, men det er nok til \u00e5 svekke tilliten fra folk som vet bedre, og skape en f\u00f8lelse av bekymring for brukere som ikke gj\u00f8r det.<\/p>\n<p>S\u00e5 hva st\u00e5r vi igjen med? I beste fall med et verkt\u00f8y som fortsatt visker ut grensene mellom organisk og betalt, samtidig som det ikke gir oss noen reelle data om effekten.
