About Us

We’re a small web design agency based in Balham, looking for a Junior Digital Marketing Executive. Currently a team of 4 (and 2 dogs). We are a web design agency also offering online marketing, branding and print, dependent on client requirements. We deliver a high-quality service offering value to our expanding client roster. What we need

We’re looking for a Junior Digital Marketing Executive to deal with paid social, social media management, copywriting, content creation and website support.  As a small agency we’re looking for someone that will be hands on, friendly, talented and eager to learn. You’ll be expected to deal with clients from the outset, so excellent people skills are essential.

The role

You will be involved in defining, designing, building, implementing and managing digital campaigns across a variety of online and social media platforms to drive customer acquisition, customer engagement and customer retention for our organisations. You will be working as an integral part of the team, you will have responsibility for some of the key elements of overall marketing plans and campaigns.

Your day to day responsibilities could include…

Main client work

  • Paid Social – Facebook/Instagram Ads
  • Social Media Management & Marketing – Planning, scheduling, posting and updating social media channels on behalf of our clients.
  • Copywriting – Copywriting for social media posts, blog posts and potentially website copy.
  • Design – Must have an eye for design. Includes creation of designs in Canva or other.
  • Website updates and support – Adding new content to our existing client websites, updating WordPress and plugins, adding new features, users and blog posts.

Other useful skills

  • Email Marketing – Setup and management of Mailchimp campaigns and lists.
  • Basic Photoshop.
  • Assisting with the setup of emails, Google or Office365.
  • Creating and assisting with management of Google My Business pages.
  • SEO
  • Google Ads

 Website creation (training will be provided)

  • Assisting with website creation – we mainly use WordPress but do also use Shopify for Ecommerce.
  • Theme research – researching and selecting pre-built themes.
  • Assistance with websites:
    • Creating the basic structure
    • Creating basic pages
    • Adding blog posts
    • Adding products (ecommerce)
    • Events
    • Image editing, basic photoshop – image cropping, resizing and basic editing so images sit best on the web.
  • Helping with website “Going live stages” – when we publish a new website, we have a checklist of stages to ensure the website is optimised and indexed by Google.

General Fresh Pies work

  • Updating our social media.
  • Answering the telephone.
  • Updating our projects on our website.
  • Collating stories for blog posts for our website.

37.5 Hours a week
£18,000 – £22,000 based on experience.
